Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart;
Wait, I say, on the Lord – Psalm 27:14
But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength, They shall mount
up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and
not faint. – Isaiah 40:31
The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul that seeks him. It is
good that one should hope and wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord. –
Lamentations 3:25-26.
Therefore I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation;
My God will hear me. – Micah 7:7.
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our
Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have access by faith into this grace in which
we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God, And not only that, but we
also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces patience; and
patience, character; and character, hope, now hope does not disappoint, because
the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was
given to us. – Romans 5:1-5.
