All denominational fountains are dry when it comes to satisfying the
spiritual thirst of man because there is only a illusion of spiritual substance
within them. They look great to the self-righteous carnal nature, but intimate
relationship with God...which brings spiritual satisfaction...is replaced by
intimacy with religion which brings spiritual dissatisfaction.
Believers have to understand that they are built from the inside out
because of God's Grace, not from the outside in because of religion. Religion
wants to mould us to its image, Grace will mould us to the image of Christ.
Religion satisfies the carnal nature, Grace satisfies the spirit of man. Once
man surrenders to Grace the Christ-life that is within causes our struggling to
cease and one rests in His Grace knowing that Christ is living through Him to
accomplish His purpose within the Community of Humanity. Our struggle to die to
self and religion is impossible because the focus is on our doing. The more we
focus on Christ's doing the more of Christ is revealed in us and through
us.
This is the “treasure we have in earthen vessels.”
